About Sirolo (Riviera del Conero)

Just steps from the sea, SIROLO is considered by many to be the “Jewel of the Conero Riviera”. This beautiful old town is perched above stone cliffs covered in pinewood, surrounded by long stretches of white shingled beach. SIROLO has been awarded the "European Blue Flag" for its clean waters (Bandiera Blu d'Europa).

The main piazza overlooks the sparkling blue waters of the Adriatic. There are lots of gelaterias, cafes and restaurants, and on summer nights the square and the narrow cobbled streets fill with people and buzz with traditional Italian atmosphere.

Along the main street there are several souvenir shops and boutiques , and a market of local crafts during the summer evenings. Further down, past the stone arch at the end of the corso, various villas line the street leading to NUMANA, SIROLO's sister town, and then to the marina and long stretch of beach.
